About Role
ZOPA Buyers support clients in fulfilling the purchase needs. He/ She is a generalist procurement enthusiast where able to handle multiple categories. Demonstrating strong procurement traits, Strategic thinking, Negotiations, Ethics, Problem solving , Market research & customer management. As ZOPA buyer He/ She is expected to make best deals beneficial to both parties and ensure long vendor relationships.
Job responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with the user and understand the need. Create comprehensive RFx and float to the vendors using ZOPA tools.
- Conducting market research and sourcing the right product.
- Identify vendor who can fulfill the requirement.
- Negotiate using various strategic techniques to get the best price for the ZOPA ecosystem.
- Negotiate in terms of Rate, Credit periods, Delivery and service TAT.
- Float RFX and get the best deal with the vendor/ supplier.
- Conduct necessary evolution as per ZOPA policies to onboard the vendor/ supplier.
- Timely convert all PR to PO as per the agreed TAT. Ensure delivery of the product /service as per the agreed scope and timeline.
- Prioritize the PRs based on the customer needs.
- MIS reporting to the Procurement & Category Heads
- Focus on improving the savings for the organization with strong negotiation actions.
Minimum Requirements:
- University degree is needed.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement functions.
- Understanding on P2P processes
- Intermediate or Advanced level is MS tools like excel, word, ppt.
- Strong communication skills
- Language proficiency: English & multiple regional languages.
Desired requirement:
- Previous experience in B2B marketplace environment.
- Expertise in more than one category.
- Hands on experience in SAP MM, Ariba, Coupa, Ivalva, Oracle fusion
- MBA or certification such as PMI, ISM, CIPS
